The dining set was sold from Ginnys circle catalog, but they are no longer availabl. It is light weight resin that looks like the cast aluminum versions, but it isn't. It has roses all over the back of the chairs that are 34.5" high and the taable is 32" in diameter and 27" high. Ineed this setr to complete my entire set. There are other sets that come in a 3pc set of which I already have sold by different venders. Please help!

Just purchased an aluminum patio dining set and wonder if anyone has suggestions on how to tie it down, or anchor it. Our area gets pretty windy and the aluminum is pretty lightweight. I want something that won't scratch it, and will keep it from blowing over or away. We were thinking something like pvc pipe, painted of course, because it would keep the chairs tight against each other..... any suggestions? It's on a concrete patio...

I have two cats, about 8 months old and I'm having a baby in a few weeks. Right now, I live in a one bedroom apartment and I have to keep all my baby furniture and stuff in the dining room, so I can't shut them out. My dad advised me to go ahead and set everything up so they could get used to it being there, and to start now teaching them to stay away. I've tried everything, they are the weirdest cats EVER. They *like* aluminum foil and tape, they chew on it and have put holes in my pack-n-play trying to tear it off. I can't find any tents for it, and I'm a little nervous about using chemicals on my baby stuff unless I know it's reasonably safe. Genius. Except I can't fit everything in my room. One bedroom apartments tend to be much smaller than other places.... And I'm not getting rid of the cats. Period. I wouldn't get rid of my baby because it had some inconvenient habits, so I'm not getting rid of the cats either.

I could get a super soaker for ninja and he'd just sit there and look offended while he was getting wetter. I'll try the citrus oil though. =) I'm not getting rid of the cats. Period. I am looking to buy my first set of decent cookware (Pots and Pans only). I have worked in fine dining establishments throughout college. While most of my experience was front of house, I always had friends in the kitchen and I was able to learn alot from them. So even though i have no formal culinary education, i like to consider myself better than the average bear when comes time to get over that saute pan. Im not exactly making the big bucks (yet) and will not be able to afford that 16 piece copper set from Williams and Sonoma. Easy clean up is important to me. I would rather start with a limited set of high quality pieces, rather than going for a full set of cheap, poorly made stuff. Definitely want a set that can go from the stove top into the oven. So Im looking for recommendations somewhere in the range of $200 to $450. what i am thinking is starting with a set of only the absolute Essentials, then buying new pots and pans 1 by 1 to satisfy a full set of cooking equipment. So i need some advice on a great 4-6 piece set to start. Is there a respectable copper set in that range? Any advice on anodized aluminum?

Which do you prefer? This would be for a dining set in cast aluminum that looks like wrought iron and would be used on a wooden deck (not a patio). I like the look of dining chairs (i.e., with legs) because I prefer a traditional style with my old house, but I'm wondering if swivel chairs would be more comfortable and practical on a deck (no legs to get caught in the cracks). Opinions? One more thing -- swivel chairs cost about twice as much as dining chairs.
